Features

Everything in one account, nothing hidden

Mining, wallet, staking, rewards and referrals — one shared balance, one login on web and Android. Here is what ShiftHash does, how each part works, and what it honestly does not do.

AI Smart-Switch mining

The optimizer

The engine evaluates 12 proof-of-work coins every 15 minutes on live price and difficulty, and switches your hashpower only on a 5%+ estimated net-yield advantage. Every evaluation, switch and stay-put decision is shown with its reason — including how many switches you have left today.

How mining works >>

One shared balance

Single spendable pool

One account balance pays for plans and staking, receives converted mining earnings and referral conversions. Top up with crypto via PaymentHub (BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT, LTC, DOGE) or — on Android, once live — Google Play credit.

Mining balances

Collect & Convert

Earnings accrue to your mining balance. Collect moves the whole balance to withdrawable, ready for payout. Convert moves it to spendable balance for your next plan or stake. Neither charges a fee.

Staking

Four tiers, daily rewards

Flexible 7 days at 18% APY, Standard 30 days at 35%, Growth 60 days at 55%, Premium 90 days at 80% — minimums from $10. Rewards are credited daily. Stakes lock for the full term; early redemption is not available. APY figures are estimates, not guarantees.

Reward Center

Check-in, tasks & quizzes

Claim a daily check-in reward on a 7-day calendar (a full week earns $0.54 + 145 XP), complete tasks in the Reward Center, and take quiz challenges — 10 questions, 30 seconds each, 80% to pass, up to 3 attempts. Rewards are promotional, not guaranteed income.

Referrals

Single-level, up to 30% effective

10% base commission on eligible referred activity, with tier multipliers up to ×3.0 at Diamond. No downline, no multi-level structure. You can also send balance or plan gifts to people you referred, and convert referral earnings into spendable balance.

Referral Terms >>

Wallet & withdrawals

Payout in BTC or USDT

BTC withdrawals from 0.0003 BTC with a 0.00005 BTC network fee. Withdrawals are reviewed before they are sent, and every deposit and withdrawal keeps a status timeline in the app. ShiftHash manages platform balances for product use — it is not a self-custody wallet.

Security

Protected by default

Email verification with one-time codes, hashed passwords, server-side sessions and server-side validation on every money action. We state what we actually do — we don't claim certifications we don't hold.

Deep dive

How the optimizer actually scores coins

The optimizer is not a black box. This is the whole method, in plain language.

Every 15 minutes the engine fetches live data for each eligible coin: the current price (CoinGecko) and the current network difficulty (WhatToMine, with mempool.space for BTC-family chains). From those two numbers, plus each coin's block reward and block time, it computes the estimated gross revenue per unit of hashpower per day — then converts that into net USD per watt per day, using documented hardware-efficiency assumptions for each mining algorithm and subtracting a 1% pool fee.

Per-watt scoring matters because the coins run on different hardware: SHA-256, Scrypt, kHeavyHash, Equihash, X11, KawPow and Autolykos do not produce the same hashes per watt. Comparing raw hash revenue would be meaningless; per-watt yield is the fair comparison.

  • Switch rule: another coin must beat the current pick by at least 5% on estimated net yield. A 1–2% lead is market noise — switching on it would cost more in churn than it earns.
  • Switch budgets: each plan allows 1–60 switches a day by tier ($20: 1, $100: 5, $300: 15, $500: 30, $1,000: 60), stacking across contracts, resetting at midnight UTC.
  • Lock: you can lock the optimizer to one coin. Auto-switch pauses until you unlock.
  • Bad data never switches: if a coin's difficulty reading looks implausible, or the advantage is absurdly large (over 1000%), the coin is excluded and the evaluation is skipped rather than acted on.
Live proof

It really switches — when the data says so

On 5 November 2026 the engine made its first live auto-switch: allocation moved from BTC to ZEC at an 844.60% estimated advantage (ZEC about $0.01817 per watt per day against BTC's $0.00192 at that moment). The switch, the advantage and the reason were shown on the Optimizer screen and logged. Before that, in 76 evaluations over the first day, BTC was best every single time — and the engine correctly stayed put. Both outcomes are the system working: switch on a real advantage, stay put when there is none.

The 12 coins

Every coin the engine can mine

Twelve proof-of-work coins. Ethereum is not here — it is proof-of-stake and cannot be mined. DOGE is merged-mined with LTC, so its revenue folds into the LTC score. FLUX is currently excluded: no reliable free difficulty feed was found for it.

Wallet & staking

Three balances, four staking tiers

1 · Mining balance

Where earnings land

Your contracts' estimated earnings accrue here as the optimizer works. It is not spendable on its own — move it with Collect or Convert first.

2 · Account balance

Your shared wallet

The spendable pool: buy plans, fund staking, send balance gifts. Topped up by crypto deposit (PaymentHub) or Google Play credit, and by Convert.

3 · Withdrawable

Ready for payout

Collect moves earnings here. BTC withdrawals from 0.0003 BTC (0.00005 BTC network fee); USDT also available. Withdrawals are reviewed before sending.

APY figures are estimates, not guarantees. Stakes lock for the full term; early redemption is not available. Staked funds return to your account balance when the stake matures.

Web vs Android — stated plainly

One account, two ways in

Your account, balances, contracts, staking, rewards and referrals are the same on the web app and the Android app. Two differences are honest and by design: Google Play purchases and Play credit top-ups only exist in the Android app (and only once it is live on Google Play), and push notifications are an Android feature. Everything else works in the browser.

What ShiftHash does not have: no arcade or games, no trading or exchange, no lending, and no guaranteed returns. If you are looking for any of those, ShiftHash is not the product for you.
